A personal tattoo design based on my clan and passion for art. The physical tattoo inking was completed by Leeroy Postman of Ranchhouse Tattoo.

The fireweed plant, on top of being a crest of the Laksamshu (Fireweed) Clan, is also a valuable food and medicine resource, as well as a plant known to thrive in destroyed habitats around BC. The plant is commonly found growing in forested areas that have seen landslide or wildfire damage and is a great asset in regrowing and repopulating plant growth. The stylus pen combined with the fireweed is meant to symbolize regrowth, tenacity, and healing as a creative/artist in the face of different struggles and hardship.
